In this publication, we offer “Establishing the Cross-Strait Community View of History (I) and (II): What Are the Existing Problems?” by Professor Yazhong Zhang.

In the Music Section, we have 12 Girls Band (女子十二樂坊) playing Alamuhan (阿拉木汗). Enjoy!

Email from Reader Richard Seireeni (on the Article “China's Gold Rush by Paul H. Tai, www.ChinaUSFriendship.com, September 1, 2008”)

I believe my father, a captain for Northwest Airlines, may have been involved in gold transfers from Shanghai in 1949.  My father passed away in 1964.  I would like to contact Dr. Sing-yung Wu to inquire if he has come across my father's name.  Do you have contact information for Sing-yung Wu?

Response from the Editor

I have forwarded your email and email address to Dr. S. Y. Wu. He will most likely write to you directly. (***Information of Sing Yung Wu's Chinese publication: Huang Jin Dang An (《黄金檔案: 國府黄金運臺,一九四九年》) by Sing Yung Wu, Taipei, http://blog.pixnet.net/Shihyingblog, 2007).
