In this publication, we offer 1) “US-China: What Effect Will Have the Clinton Africa Tour?” by Said Ahmed; and 2) “Zheng Hailin: Japanese Map Accounts for the Diaoyutai Islands to be Chinese Territory” by Professor Hailin Zheng.
In the Music Section, we have “Half a Moon Climbs Up” (半个月亮爬上来) sung by Peng Liyuan (彭丽媛), one of the Chinese folk music singers. She is married to PRC Vice-President Xi Jinping for over 20 years; please click http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VdQNEjUZgc
This is one of the favorite Chinese-Muslim folk songs from Xinjiang (actually a Kazakh folk song), China. The lyrics are about a suitor trying to get the attention of a girl from her window. Wang Luobin wrote the Chinese lyrics (作詞:王洛賓).
Enjoy!
